Vienna, Virginia is centrally located, close to major commuting routes such as Routes 66, 7 123, the Capital Beltway and Lee Highway.  It is close to both Reagan International and Dulles International Airports.  The Metro system runs from Vienna to other locations in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland.  Vienna also borders Tysons Corner which, with its great shopping malls and offices, is the hub of Fairfax County.  However, Vienna is full of quiet green neighborhoods such as Wendover, Ayr Hill, Shouse Village, and Hunter's Crest with a wide variety of homes across a broad price spectrum.  Vienna is both an independent city and a prominent part of Fairfax County.  Vienna is desirable not only because of its central location but because of its excellent public schools which are part of the Fairfax County public school system.  In 2005, CNN/M Money Magazine ranked Vienna fourth on the list of the 100 best places to live in the United States.  Vienna is also home to the Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts and Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.  Vienna hosts a large weekly farmers' market and the popular Washington and Old Dominion bike/hike trail runs through the city.
